Why become a member ?

How to become a member.

  1. Grow or want to grow ginseng in Australia.
  2. Complete the online application form.
  3. AGGA contacts you to discuss whether membership will be of mutual benefit.
  4. If your application is approved, an invitation is sent to you to proceed with your membership along with an invoice for the annual membership fee. You may pay by cheque, money transfer or Paymate, to Australian Ginseng Growers Association Inc., National Bank 083-827 Account No. 638173306. A membership number will be sent to you which must be used as a reference when payment is made.
  5. Payment of the fee is taken as your acceptance of the invitation to join.
  6. Relevant documents and your starter kit are sent to you along with an invitation to be involved with the Association in a hands-on way.
  7. From then on, it is as exciting & rewarding as you want to make it.

Fees

Membership and annual subscriptions commence on 1st July in each year. There is a one off Entry Fee of $25.00 which covers administration expenses and your copy of the Association’s Constitution.

Full Membership with voting rights and limited to persons directly involved with the cultivation and growing of ginseng in Australia.  $200.00 per annum.

Membership is Pro-rated on a quarterly basis (three quarters from 1st October; half from 1st January; one quarter from 1st April) for new members joining during the year.  The Entry Fee is NOT pro-rated.

All members receive the Association’s quarterly Newsletter – “Australian Ginseng Gazette”.
